Ebb & Flow Bodywork Policies
First of all, thank you for choosing Ebb & Flow Bodywork for your bodywork needs.
Please note that all policies below are made in respect for mine and my clients time. As an independently owned small business & service provider, I do not get paid hourly. If I don’t perform a service, I don’t get paid.
With that being said, I humbly ask that you respect mine & my other clients time by honoring and adhering to the policies listed below. Thank you.
IMPORTANT • CANCELLATION POLICY
I respectfully ask that you provide a minimum of 24 hour notice of any schedule changes or cancellation requests.
Please understand that when you cancel or miss your appointment without providing a 24 hour notice, I am often unable to fill that appointment time. With that being said, If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, you will be charged 50% of the service(s) booked. Failure to pay will prohibit you from booking any future visits at Ebb & Flow Bodywork.
I understand that emergencies can arise and illnesses do occur at inopportune times. If you have a fever, a known infection, or have experienced vomiting or diarrhea within 24 hours prior to your appointment time, please cancel your session.
Inclement weather may also result in the need for late cancellations. I will do my best to give advance notice if I’m closing or need to cancel due to bad weather and I ask you to do the same. Please do not risk your own safety trying to make your appointment.
LATE ARRIVAL POLICY
I understand that issues can arise that may cause you to be late for your appointment. However, I ask that you call to inform me if this ever occurs so I can do my best to accommodate you.
Appointment times are reserved for each client, so oftentimes I cannot exceed that reserved time without making the next client late. For this reason, arriving after your appointment time may result in loss of time so that your session ends at the scheduled time. Full service fees will be charged even when sessions are shortened due to late arrival.
In return, I will do my best to be on time, and if I’m unable to do so, I will add time to your session to make up for the late arrival or adjust the service charge accordingly.
NO SHOW POLICY
Please keep in mind that I will not consider you a no-show if you call to tell me you won’t be able to make your appointment before your scheduled start time. This would be considered a late cancellation & you will only be charged 50% of the service(s) booked.
If you do no-show your scheduled appointment, you will be charged 100% of the total price of the service booked. Failure to pay will prohibit you from booking any future visits at Ebb & Flow Bodywork.
INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR POLICY
Bodywork is for relaxation and therapeutic purposes only. There is absolutely no sexual component to them whatsoever.
Any insinuation, joke, gesture, conversation, or request otherwise will result in immediate termination of your session and a refusal of any and all services in the future. You will be charged the full service fee regardless of the length of your session.
Always treat your massage bodyworkers with respect and dignity and you will be treated the same in return.
BOOKING POLICIES
When booking online through MassageBook, you are required to pay a deposit of 50% in order to book your appointment. Booking online is a requirement for all new clients.
Recurring clients can book online, in person, or over text. This lets me know that you value my time and respect the policies and is also a precaution in case of a late cancellation or no show occurs.
You also have the ability to pay in full during this time if you choose to. Otherwise, your remaining balance payment will be completed after your session is complete.
POLICIES AGREEMENT
Please do not book if you don’t agree with these policies. You’ll be required to agree and sign to all the policies listed above on your intake form prior to your first session.
